What I did in 9th Grade

Every year, I go into the next grade the same way, with an open mind, prepared for what happens and new rules, but my 9th grade year has shown me that the rest of high school won't be as easy I was expecting. My 9th grade year brought be to realize that I will be graduating soon, and that I will be an adult soon (at the time of righting, a little less than 3 years) and that things are getting harder, but most important, real.

Grew - Contour in Art

Art

The button to the right will take you to my reflection in art. In this reflection you will see how I grew in something called contour drawing.

Struggled - Probability

Math

The picture to the right will take you my reflection about probability. Although it was short, I feel like i struggled with it a lot.

Excelled - CAD Inventor

Engineering

The picture to the right will take you my reflection (not a review), of inventor. Inventor is  a 3D modeling system that we used in class.

Now, I am more realistic. I have embraced the harder work, and see it as preparation for the real world. School was harder, but that doesn’t mean that I had to face it alone, nor does that mean that I will have to face real life alone. Collaboration was an important skill for me this year. At DRSS, we very rarely do projects alone, if ever. And that will be true for real life. In Engineering, we got feedback for some things in Inventor, or worked with a partner. We had to draw and critiqued each other in Art, and in math, we most defiantly worked together to get through work. Of course, everything has prepared me for life and the next year. It helped me learn and grow my brain and personality, and will be helpful next year, and in life. In 10th grade, I want to accomplish a perfect balance between fun, friends, work and grades. I want to do this because I will need all of these in the real world.
