Struggled in Probability

Geometry

In math this year, we had to study something that seemed like it would be 2nd grade, but then it became really confusing. This topic was probability. It would simply seem to be multiplication and tree diagrams, but then formulas showed up, and everything went wrong. Things started getting confusing. “How could something that seemed so simple become so difficult and perplexing?” That was a question I started asking myself, and I was confused why we had to use formulas and more complex things to get these answers, along with at the same time using the simpler things. On the probability quiz, I didn’t do as well as I hoped, but I did better than I thought. Before the quiz something hit me, late perhaps albeit, but that the reason we were doing the simple stuff along with more complexed formula, because it was to show that the formulas where a faster and more precise and reasonable than just making a tree diagram or multiplication.
