The Medical Interventions class was introduced to DRSS this year. We are learning from and doing all our work through the Project Lead the Way (or PLTW) site. In this class, I've studied real-world scenarios, such as a Meningitis outbreak at a college; learned about medical processes, such as ELISA and PCR, and explored different careers, such as Bioinformatics. This class has easily shaped up to be one of my favorites.
